Before You Reach Out

Questions Craig gets a lot

How soon will I hear back?
Same business day for most messages. If you send something in the evening or over a weekend during an active search, you will usually still hear back, just a bit later.
Do I have to be ready to buy or sell to talk?
No. A good number of Craig’s clients start the conversation six to twelve months out. Early conversations are usually the most useful ones, because there is still time to fix credit, plan a renovation, or time a sale properly.
What does it cost to work with Craig as a buyer?
Compensation is agreed in writing before you start touring, and it varies by transaction. Craig will walk you through exactly how it works on the first call, including what is negotiable and what is not.
I'm moving between states. Can Craig handle both sides?
In most cases, yes. He is licensed in Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, so a sale in one and a purchase in another can stay with one agent instead of being split between two.
Do you work with first-time buyers?
Regularly. First-time buyers get the same preparation and responsiveness as any other client, plus a walkthrough of the parts nobody explains well: earnest money, inspection contingencies, appraisal gaps, and what actually happens at closing.
Can you help me find a lender, inspector, or contractor?
Yes. Craig keeps a short list of people he has worked with repeatedly across each of his markets. You are never required to use them, and he will tell you plainly if he thinks your own lender is doing a better job.
